HEALTHY, LOW CALORIE PIZZA




Pizza under 400 calories? -Yes, please!

I came across with this recipe a few days ago and decided to try it out immediately. 

The pizza came out perfectly and the taste was good. It is not like real pizza, of course, but if you are in the mood of something good and don´t want to consume all the empty calories, this is a good choice. 

The bottom is made of cauliflower, eggs and almond flour. 

Here is the recipe for one pizza

HEALTHY, LOW CALORIE PIZZA
∼390 kcal

Tomato sauce:

2 tomatoes
1 clove of garlic 
0,5 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of dried basil 
0,5 teaspoon of balsamico 
salt and black pepper

Bottom:

350 g cauliflower 
1 egg
1 tablespoon of almond flour
salt

Filling:

100 g low fat mozzarella
handful of fresh arugula 
about then leafs of fresh basil

How to do it?

First you make the sauce by slicing the tomatoes into small cubes. Add all the rest of the ingredients. Then boil them with low heat for about 15 minutes. 
Do the bottom by crushing the cauliflower into small pieces and put into a microwave for 3 minutes. Let it cool down and then mix it with an egg and almond flour. When done, make a round pizza bottom and put it into the oven for twenty minutes or as long as it gets that beautiful golden brown color. 
Remove from the oven and put on the sauce and mozzarella. Tomatoes, arugula and basil goes there just before eating. 
Keep it in the oven for five minutes or when the cheese is ready and ENJOY!

Tämä resepti osui silmiini muutamia päiviä sitten ja pakkohan sitä oli päästä koettamaan mahdollisimman pian.

Pizza onnistui loistavasti, se oli helppo ja nopea tehdä, eikä makukaan ollut hullumpi! Eihän se nyt tietenkään oikeaa pizzaa voita, mutta mikäli mielesi tekee jotain hyvää, mutta et halua ottaa turhia kaloreita, on tämä varsin varteenotettava vaihtoehto.
Tätä herkkua voisi syödä vaikka joka päivä!

Pizzan pohja on tehty kukkakaalista, munasta ja mantelijauhoista.
